Window Film Care and Maintenance The window film you had purchased from Tint-King is a high quality product and an investment in your vehicle. In order to maximize the life of your new window film. The mounting solution used during the installation will require time to dry. This period of time varies depending on weather conditions. Cold and non-sunny weather can lengthen the time it takes for your films to completely dry. IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALLATION Do not roll the windows down for 2-3 days after installation. Do not clean your new window films for 10 days after your TINT-KING installation. Cleaning Instructions: A good cleaning solution for window film is 1/2 oz. of liquid dish detergent added to 1 quart of fresh water. Most glass cleaners will also work well. A soft cloth or synthetic sponge is recommended for washing the window film followed by a clean soft cloth or SOFT rubber squeegee for drying. Never use bristle brushes, abrasive scrubbing brushes, cleansers, or any other cleaning materials that could scratch the film.  Never use a cloth or sponge that was used for washing the inside or outside of the vehicle. The dirt that is trapped will scratch your window films.
